Get Clear on Your speciality + the transformation you create

Use these prompts to get clarity on your why, your speciality, your transformation.

  • What have your clients experienced? Tangible results + feelings.

  • What have you transformed? Friends? Family? Etc.

  • If you could teach everyone one thing, what would it be? 

  • You can teach multiple things - what is the common thread? And what excites you most now? 

  • What do you love talking about? 

  • I teach/help[PERSON]create XXX CHANGE to CREATE RESULT so they can OTHER RESULT.

Pro tip: any resistance you feel around getting clear on your big vision, big mission is just fear. If you’re feeling unmotivated, unclear, procrastinating or some other funky pattern, look at where you’re disconnected from your why. Why do you want to start a business? Why does it matter to you? Why do you want to help people? What happens to them if they don’t find you and do your work? Get clear on that, then live it, breathe it, share it, give it, teach it.


IDEAL CLIENTS - BEYOND THE BASIC ‘IDEAL CLIENT AVATAR’

Use the below questions to get clear on where your client is now emotionally and energetically - and then remember this person every time you write.

Speak to them - as if you’re having a conversation. The more you practice this, the easier it gets and eventually you don’t even have to think about it, it’s just naturally infused into everything you do, write, create, share.

  • What specific details do you need or want to know about your ideal client? Does it help you to know how old they are? Where they shop? What books they read or podcasts they listen to or shows they watch? Where they live? What they think when they wake up on Sunday morning? What their favorite colors, foods, vacations spots and hobbies are? Get clear on the pieces you need, and don’t get bogged down with the rest.

  • How does your ideal client find before s/he finds your work? What does s/he think about, worry about, obsess over? What makes them excited? Angry? Scared? What are their big dreams?

  • If you’re stuck, use your past self. What were you feeling 6 months ago? A year ago? 5 years? What did you need or want help with? Who or what were you looking for? What language/ideas/things resonated with you and made you feel motivated and inspired to change, to invest, etc?
